This bunch of Canadian geese were on a pond to the side of the Nature Center. Those are the Sandia Mountains in the background as they are in so many of my photos.

- Retirement has finally come and I find myself living in a small property on New Mexico desert. I live with my husband and my pets that include 4 cats, 2 dogs, 3 horses, and 2 ponies. Most of our pets were in need of a good home when I took them in. I like to raise flowers, and houseplants, and I try to garden but it can be difficult here on this sand dune. I sometimes attempt to write fiction and nonfiction stories. I love to take photos and share them. I enjoy watching the sun rise in the morning and the moon rise in the evening, and love watching nature. I am an avid reader of fiction books with westerns and mysteries being my favorites.
