The dogs have been taught not to tear up anything so they didn't want to open their gifts but the cats didn't hesitate when offered the chance of opening gifts and playing in gift wrap paper.

- Retirement has finally come and I find myself living in a small property on New Mexico desert. I live with my husband and my pets that include 4 cats, 2 dogs, 3 horses, and 2 ponies. Most of our pets were in need of a good home when I took them in. I like to raise flowers, and houseplants, and I try to garden but it can be difficult here on this sand dune. I sometimes attempt to write fiction and nonfiction stories. I love to take photos and share them. I enjoy watching the sun rise in the morning and the moon rise in the evening, and love watching nature. I am an avid reader of fiction books with westerns and mysteries being my favorites.
