- Linda has left an excellent suggestion about how to get rid of unwanted callers. I will certainly give it a try. She says to ask them to hold, put down the phone and wait about 5 minutes or so. Usually by then they will have hung up. And we can hope they take your name off their list as they don't want that happening again.

you are most welcome. We get plagued with calls around the supper hour every day from various people all looking to get into my pocket.
ReplyDeleteTelephone solicitation, does it really work? do people actually purchase goods and services in this manner? I cringe when I think that any yahoo can ring you up and get you to buy a pig in a poke. without so much as showing you he has stock or experience. I purchase all my goods at places with guarantees and show rooms. Remember it's always buyer beware.
