New Story

I have a new story listed on http://www.womenwritersblock.net/ . It is a Gunsmoke fan fiction story entitled Horse Thieves. If you want to read it, go to the site. There are lots of other authors here and we all enjoy writing fan fiction and having others read it. You can find fan fiction stories about almost any TV show that has been on, although westerns are the most popular.

Women Writers Block

The site www.womenwritersblock.net is back up and there are several new stories that were posted today. New stories are posted on Mondays. Give them a try and let the authors know what you think of them. I know I'm going to as we are having another snow storm today so I will just stay in except for going out to feed the horses.

New Christmas Story

I have a new story posted on www.womenwritersblock.net It is called Bordertown Christmas, and is about the old western - well 1988 - show called Bordertown. In the story it is Christmas Eve and Marshal Jack Craddock is lost in a snow storm. All of his friends are worried and him and trying to find him. Will they find him before it is to late?

Independence Day Story

I have written another fan-fiction story. For those that don't know I write fan-fiction for the website www.womenwritersblock.net under the pen name of Stardust.
Follow the link and find my story entitled 'July 4th in Laramie' at this site. I have other stories there, also, as do lots of other writers.
We mostly write stories that are based on the western TV shows that were on TV from about 1950 through 1980. Sadly there are no western TV shows now. There were shows titled Lawman, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Bordertown, High Chaparral, Have Gun Will Travel, Wagon Train and lots more.
A few can now be seen in re-runs on the Western Channel and on TVLand.

Bonanza

This photo is of Loren Greene who played Ben Cartwright, who was the head of the Cartwright clan on the Bonanza show. These old newspaper photos where in my scrapbook from when I was a kid and these shows were actually on. The article that went with the photos of the Bonanaza stars was when the newspaper in Tampa, Florida where we were living in 1962-1964 had polled readers on what there favorite show was. We knew by the photos that the favorite was Bonanza, still a favorite for those of us who watch the old reruns, and write fan-fiction stories for websites that publish them like www.womenwritersblock.net
