Silki

We adopted two kittens. Chantilly the white one in the previous post and her sister, Silki, a calico. Chantilly loves to be held and petted but Silki is very, very shy and is still reluctant to be petted or held. Hopefully time and lots of TLC will change that.

New Kitties

Most people we know might think it nuts but we adopted 2 kittens this week. The Siamese was our first choice but we decided we couldn't leave her calico sister behind so took both of them. The Siamese came with the name Chantilly and the calico with the name Silk. Can't decide if we are keeping those names or not. They are so sweet but are very shy. Think they were about half wild when they arrived at the New Mexico Humane Society which is one of the nicest shelters I have been to. Both girls had to be spayed before we could bring them home and both will be indoor kitties. Right now I am keeping them in a bedroom by their selves until they get over their surgeries, and adjust.
